Top rated Steakhouse in the 2006 Zagat Survey - San Francisco - Bay Area Guide. Top rated Steakhouse 2006, 2005 & 2004

Set in an 1886 historic building, Greg Cole's Napa meatery "satisfies that red-meat craving" with "dry-aged", "juicy porterhouses" and ''wonderful sides"; the clientele admits the "array of beef" "will clog the heart and separate you from the Benjamins" but it's "just what you need for that Screaming Eagle" or another full-bodied fave from the "fabulous" 220-label list; locals, though, prefer quaffing "great Martinis" and "chatting" with the "accommodating staff" at the "happening" bar.
