 "It was the New Zealand rack of lamb that made me a convert. I’ve reviewed lots of restaurants in Napa, but for some reason I never made it to Cole’s Chop House. I didn’t really think there’d be much of interest in a steakhouse. It took our monthly Wine Country section on Napa, which will be published on Sunday, Aug. 22, that lured me through the door of this 1886 structure that has thick rock walls, an open kitchen downstairs and a mezzanine that overlooks the downstairs action and still has enough ceiling height to feel luxurious...."
